Story
One Wall. 8,848m. One Cause: Climbers Against Cancer.
The University of Hertfordshire Climbing Club is taking on a huge challenge: climbing the full elevation of Mount Everest - all 8,848 metres - on our indoor wall, to raise money for Climbers Against Cancer.
All donations go directly to CAC. We're aiming to raise as much as we can, and every contribution helps. If you'd like to support the challenge and the charity, we'd really appreciate it.
Thanks for helping us reach the top.
Climbers Against Cancer:
CAC supports cancer research around the world, and we wanted to contribute in a way that fits who we are as a club: climbing more vertical metres than ever before for a good cause.
To raise funds and awareness concerning cancer, for the benefit of research into prevention, causes and treatments of the disease, as well as for activities that can help sufferers and their families cope emotionally and physically with the challenges of living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
