This year we're holding a bake sale for the Ruth Strauss Foundation at Varsity. The Ruth Strauss Foundation was set up in honour of ex-England captain Sir Andrew Strauss' wife Ruth. She was bravely fought a battle against an incurable lung cancer which she unfortunately lost in 2018. She had two children who were only 10 and 13 when she passed.

The foundation provides support for families when preparing for the death of a parent and raising awareness for research and collaborations in the fight against non-smoking lung cancers.
