Hey everyone!
We're the UHI Golf Team, students who love golf, train hard and proudly represent UHI in competitions across Scotland and the UK. We're not the biggest university team out there, but we're ambitious - and that's where we need your help!
Unlike so of the bigger university golf teams, we don't have loads of money-in-the-pot. Every time we compete, we often have to pay for our own travel, accommodation, and essential kit - which as students, can be pretty tough to afford.
We're raising money to help cover things like:
- Travel and accommodation - our matches are all over the UK, and we rely on car shares, trains, and even overnight buses to get there!
- Team kit and equipment - team kit and things like waterproofs, team uniforms, and proper footwear aren't cheap.
- Making competitions accessible to all of our students - we don't want money to be the reason players are missing out on competing.
