Story

UK BTS Army are raising money for Mind UK in honour of BTS Members J-Hope and Suga's birthdays, which are on the the 18th February and 9th of March respectively.

J-Hope, Hobi, Jung Ho-seok is often referred to as Army's sunshine. He exudes brightness and light, for many BTS Army, J-Hope is the bright light at the end of the tunnel. His warmth and kindness is unmatched. J-Hope is also an avid listener, carefully and lovingly listening to others. He once said his best trait was being 'embracing.' In an interview with W Korea he said:

I know how to accept. I like to listen rather than speak. If someone is to pour out their emotions on me, I can sit there and listen to them. Whatever reaction and feedback you have on me, I would take it as an opportunity to grow and advance.

J-hope embraces others and embodies unwavering kindness to others. He is a role model to everyone around him. His song Equal sign exemplifies his steadfast kindness.

Hate'll paralyze your mind. Gotta see the other side. It costs ya nothin’ to be kind. Not so different you and I. Lookin' for love in a different light. Until we find that equal sign

In honour of his bright, kind and embracing nature UK Army are raising money for Mind UK to support people mental health and help make everyone feel as listened to as J-hope does.

Suga, also known as Agust D, has created music that has saved many over the years. His last album, D Day, was a testament to finding self-freedom and learning to accept and heal from trauma. Yet, whilst processing his own trauma he graciously loved and accepted others. Especially within his song, Snooze. A song dedicated to his juniors in the music industry, telling them he will be there for them, he will be there to support them.

Behind you, growing a dream while watching me, I’ll always be standing, so don’t worry too much, If you’re afraid of falling, I’ll gladly catch you. So don’t suffer like I did.

When you grow a little sick of what you do that you used to like so purely. When your wishes drift away, carried by winds. It’s okay, when everything passes, it’ll all become a memory and a lesson. Don’t forget, the world doesn’t have that much patience. I hope you never laugh at someone else’s misfortune, because you never know if you’ll find yourself in the same situation.

Your success will become a leash and a shackle, and more and more, those feelings of walking on a tightrope will suffocate you. Just laugh out loud, as if you’ll laugh the world away. Just hold out, wherever you are. Wishing your dreams won’t just stay as dreams, I will cheer for you, whenever and wherever (dream)

Suga provides unyielding love, comfort and support to BTS Army. His soft spoken love and kindness is like being wrapped up in a warm blanket. Suga embraces his sensitivity and lets others know it is ok to cry, as everyone is more than enough to be loved. With these sentiments in mind, UK BTS Army are raising money for Mind UK, to help show everyone that it is always ok to cry. We are all more than enough to be loved.
