On 23rd May 2026 there will be a hockey tournament at the University of Edinburgh's Peffermill pitches, to raise funds for Little Hearts Matter:
Sarah and Andrew Mitchell lost their first daughter, Sophie, in 2015 to a rare congenital heart condition. Little Hearts Matter is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting those impacted by this condition, a single ventricle heart - or half a heart.
UK-WISPA will be a shirt sponsor at the hockey tournament in return for hitting the £1k fundraising target on this page, and in support of Andrew Mitchell; formerly Scottish Government R100/SBVS and currently Building Digital UK Local Delivery Lead for Scotland for Project Gigabit.
