UKGI Slack Fundraiser 2024

The first UKGI Slack pin badge drive was in 2019: a charity fundraiser that also gave UKGI Slack members a piece of limited edition merch to wear at events, to signal their membership in our community. This is our fourth edition!
To date we have raised over £7,500(!!) for incredibly worthy causes.
This year we’re supporting the absolutely incredible charity ‘Safe In Our World’.
The main goal of Safe In Our World is to create and foster worldwide mental health awareness within the video game industry; to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health, to make it a natural topic of discussion, and to promote the dialogue surrounding mental health so people are not afraid to reach out for help if they need it
I’m sure you’ll agree that right now we’ve never needed a group like Safe In Our World so much in our industry, so we’re endlessly grateful for all of their support and resources.
You can find out more about them at https://safeinourworld.org/
Our 2024 pin has been designed by the wonderful Rob Bedford at Juiced Studio LTD. This year we’ve gone cute: join us in our love for frogs, come up with your own name for them, take them on your adventures - all whilst remembering to stay hydrated.
The UKGI Slack admin team are so thankful to Juiced Studio LTD for offering their time and many iterations on the design of this pin. Is cute.
And finally, HUGE thank you to Chandler Wells for supporting our fundraiser by producing and purchasing the pins. All of the supporters mean every penny goes to Safe in our World.
We just need you to fill in the address section of the below form so we know where to send it to. Postage is being covered by the wonderful team at Future Friends Games, so your entire donation goes directly to Safe In Our World.
Please fill in the form at https://forms.gle/DFgjskZFFvWYuCyXA It’s very short as we just require your postage details and a way to match up donations with justgiving and postal addresses.
Unfortunately as Develop 2024 Brighton has passed, there are no collection options this year.
