Last year in the summer of 2025, the Woolmen Livery in the City of London organised a fundraiser to take ambulances to Ukraine. We ended up taking 4 ambulances packed to the maximum with medical equipment to our drop off point in Kyiv. We also were able to be joined by 2 pick up trucks, sorely needed for some of the difficult or devastated areas that ambulances cannot reach.

This year we are making it a more multi-Livery and City event. I can tell you that it was 4 days of tough driving and rough overnight stops generously supported by amazing people in homes or buildings.

After getting to Kyiv we saw places like Bucha where there were atrocities and met amazing people who retro fitted the ambulances or who drove them out to the more dangerous places.

We saw memorials to the many who have died and were really moved by the dedication of the teams helping. We know this worthy cause will save countless lives

We were so affected by the feeling that we’d done something worthwhile, we decided to do it all again with, and for, the amazing Ukraine Medical Charity… so here we are with Convoy 2026!
