I am a coordinator for Ukrainian Medical Charity - a registered UK charity facilitating NGOs, charities and the Minstry of Health in Ukraine helping medics in Ukraine - by supporting them to access medical aid, equipment and transport required to continue their work.

I have been doing this for over 2 years now, have multiple links and contacts in Ukraine and UK and have a lot of experience with coordination and organisation of sending medical aid. It is exciting now working as part of a UK registered charity that we can expand this work further!

With this run I hope to raise enough funds to be able to support our Ukrainian contacts to purchase a medical evacuation vehicle to send to medical teams along the frontline in difficult to reach places, which are struggling to cope with the horrendous war injuries, significant trauma and help them care for their patients.

Photo below is from our contacts in Ukraine of Maria, who is a medic on the frontline and the vehicle they currently use which is possibly over 20+ years old and keeps breaking down. Obviously not ideal.
