Story
Becoming a dad was a blessing but it came with challenges I didn’t expect. I faced burnout twice, struggling to balance work and family while feeling like I’d lost myself. My memory slipped, isolation crept in, and I believed my neurodiversity was a weakness.
What changed everything?
Opening up. Honest conversations with family, professional support from NHS Talking Therapies (through Havering Mind), work, private counselling, and Able Future helped give me the tools to rebuild. Along the way, I found strength in faith, motivational talks, and learning that growth takes time.
After four years of showing up and doing the work, I’ve found peace, purpose, and hope and now I want to help others find the same.
Why I’m Fundraising
Havering Mind was my lifeline. Their support helped me regain confidence and move forward. Your donation will help them keep offering vital mental health services to people who feel overwhelmed or alone.
Peace
Then came a moment that deeply impacted my family of four—a moment that made us stop and reflect. Peace came within us, and I felt it in my heart, which reshaped everything and helped me lean more on the Lord. That sense of calm changed my perspective completely. From that point, I chose to trust Him more, align my goals with faith, and dedicate my purpose to serving others and making a positive impact in the community.
