Grace's fundraiser for Little Princess Trust

Una Manley is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Hair cut · 31 May 2025

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Grace has made the amazing decision to have at least 12 inches (hopefully more) cut off her hair, in order to support this wonderful charity. She would also like to raise £700 in order to fund the cost of turning her hair into a wig and having a fitting for a child in need.

Grace whilst only 9, has sadly had cancer affect her life through her loved ones.

Unfortunately Grace never got to meet her Nanny Anita who passed in April 2015 after battling a brain tumour.

Grace has also over the last year been a huge support to her grandad as he too, took on the fight with the big C. Amazingly he is currently now in the clear.

Grace couldn't help but notice the effects of the treatment on her grandad, including the loss of his hair and was deeply saddened by the fact that children can also be affected this way and so made her decision to help.

Those that know Grace know what a HUGE decision this is for her and we couldn't be prouder.

We would please ask that you give what you can to help her reach her goal and to support this amazing charity in its work.
