Story
My name is Matt and I'm embarking on a range of activities to help raise essential funds so my Uncle can fight "the terminator" of brain cancers, a Glioblastoma stage 4 brain tumour (GBM).
GBM is very aggressive and has an average survival rate of less than a year, but some patients are able to win the battle if they can afford groundbreaking treatment options overseas that aren’t currently offered by the NHS.
In an attempt to help make a dent in the astronomical cost of treatment I will be completing Dry January, Completing 52 Wild Swims and partaking in the Three Peaks Challenge.
