You may remember that in 2022 we held a series of events to remember Libby Notley. Libby was one of our village's stalwarts, who was so often found at the heart of occasions that brought us all together. Libby died so unexpectedly in May 2021, and our events that following year were a way to celebrate her life and love for Underriver, our community here, whilst also raising money for good causes.

May 2026 marks the fifth anniversary of Libby’s passing. In these years that followed Libby’s passing, a number of others from our community, much loved, have also left us. We thought 2026 would be an opportunity to get together again, in the spirit of community and friendship, to share time together and raise money for local charities.

Spurgeons is a faith-based charity offering advocacy services to vulnerable children and particularly those suffering mental health issues. Libby worked with the charity under a previous name, Fegan's and it was a cause close to her heart.
