The Alaw Unit has been at the heart of cancer care in North-West Wales for a quarter of a century. With your help, we can continue to grow and ensure that our community has access to the best possible care and facilities in the future.

As Staff, Patients, Friends and Family of Alaw we are joining together through various events, charity days, sponsored events to raise as much Money as possible to fund the extension of the Alaw Assessment Unit.

The purpose of The Alaw Assessment unit is ensure patients with side effect of Cancer treatment have direct access to care within the Alaw Unit. This Unit will deliver rapid assessment, investigation, and treatment of patients with urgent oncological, haematological, and palliative conditions. It enables patients with acute toxicities or sudden deterioration to be treated by an expert multi-professional team. The aim of the unit is to reduce the need for patients to attend the emergency department.

Mae Uned Alaw wedi bod wrth galon gofal canser yng Ngogledd-Orllewin Cymru ers chwarter canrif. Gyda’ch help, gallwn barhau i dyfu a sicrhau bod ein cymuned yn cael mynediad at y gofal a'r cyfleusterau gorau posibl yn y dyfodol. Fel Staff, Cleifion, Ffrindiau a Theulu Alaw, rydym yn uno trwy amryw o ddigwyddiadau, diwrnodau elusennol, digwyddiadau noddi i godi cymaint o Arian â phosibl i ariannu estyniad Uned Asesu Alaw.

Pwrpas Uned Asesu Alaw yw sicrhau bod cleifion sydd â swyddogaethau ochr triniaeth Canser yn cael mynediad uniongyrchol at ofal o fewn Uned Alaw. Bydd y Uned hon yn darparu asesu cyflym, ymchwil a thriniaeth i gleifion gyda chyflyrau oncologol, haematologol, a thalfodiol brys. Mae'n galluogi cleifion sydd ag afiechydon dieithr neu waethygiad sydyn i gael eu trin gan dîm aml-broffesiynol arbenigol. Nod y uned yw lleihau’r angen i gleifion fynd i'r adran argyfwng.
