At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.

AG, our grandad, lived with dementia. There were good days and bad and sometimes scary ones, days when his confusion was difficult to see and support. To watch him sing and laugh to the good ol’ day music was touching especially when we would join in with him.

Megan, his great grand daughter, is starting university this year, she has been inspired by this and hopes to do some music therapy sessions to support others later on in her degree.

Growing up we would go for walks around our local park and other places and completing this memory walk it will just bring those memories a little bit closer to something we all enjoyed doing together. 💛
