BT Global fundraising event - Switzerland

Cycling and hiking the Chasseral in the Swiss Jura · 25 June 2025
We are excited to announce that 136 dedicated BT employees supported by our partners will be embarking on a journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Swiss Jura in Switzerland on June 25th. But this isn't just any adventure; it's a mission to support the most vulnerable among us – children in emergencies.
In conflict and disaster, children suffer first and suffer most. During emergencies and conflict, children are especially vulnerable to disease, malnutrition, and violence. They are also more likely to be living in extreme poverty and may not be enrolled in primary school.
UNICEF is there before, during and after emergencies, helping communities to recover quickly and build resilience to future emergencies. Your contribution to Children’s Emergency Fund (CEF) will support UNICEF’s emergency response whenever and wherever needed, even when crises don’t make the news.
With your generous donations, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most. Here's how your contribution can directly impact children and families in crisis:
💼 EUR 79 could help provide essential school supplies for at least 20 children, ensuring they can continue their education even in the midst of an emergency.
🚰 EUR 46 could supply a family with a crucial emergency water and hygiene kit, offering them access to clean water and sanitation facilities during difficult times.
🏥 EUR 37 could equip a health worker with a large first aid kit, enabling them to provide lifesaving medical assistance where it's needed most.
Every euro counts, and your support can truly make a world of difference for these children and families facing unimaginable challenges.
