A number of individual challenges and activities throughout the year

No one in Yorkshire should face a brain tumour diagnosis alone. Every day, more than four people in Yorkshire receive a brain tumour diagnosis. We're here to provide vital support to those affected, while investing in innovative research to improve treatments for the future.

Story

Brain Tumours can affect anyone, at any time. They are the single biggest killer of the under 40's in the UK

Every week approx 15 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour in Yorkshire.

Research has been underfunded for brain tumours, with current treatments nearly 40 years old.

YBTC aim to fund world-class research here in Yorkshire to find treatments and a cure. Whilst they do that they provide support to people living with and affected by brain tumours, emotionally, practically and financially for as long as they need.

Having witnessed the support given to a close friend of mine, who lost his battle against this terrible disease back in October 2023, I want to try give something back to YBTC to continue their own battle to support others and find that cure that’s desperately needed.
