I’m making a Mega Pom Pom!

Over the next few weeks/months I’ll be creating an enormous pom pom to help raise awareness and money for Unique - a charity that provides information, support and community for families affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders.

When you’re navigating a rare diagnosis it can feel incredibly isolating, especially when there are so few people who understand what your family is experiencing. Unique helps connect families across the world, provides reliable information about rare conditions, and offers support to people who often feel overlooked.

As someone who spends a lot of time making slightly *ahem* unique pom poms on the internet 😅 I wanted to use this project to shine a light on a charity doing important work behind the scenes.

So whilst I wrap what is probably an unnecessary amount of yarn around a mega pom pom maker, I’d love to raise as much money as possible for Unique along the way.

Every donation - big or small - will help support families living with rare chromosome and gene disorders and help Unique continue providing vital resources, research information and community support.
