It is been one year since the escalation of the war in Ukraine on 24 February 2022. A generation of children in Ukraine has spent 365 days engulfed by violence, fear, loss and tragedy.
7.1 million children in Ukraine need support.
Millions of children are going to sleep cold and scared and waking up hoping for an end to this brutal war. Children have been killed and injured, and many have lost parents and siblings, their homes, schools and playgrounds.
According to UNISEF UK a recent survey the percentage of children living in poverty has almost doubled from 43% to 82%. The situation is especially acute for the 5.9 million people who are currently displaced within Ukraine.
What does the UNISEF ensure in 2023?
Providing health care to 4 million women and children

Providing mental health support to 4 million children and caregivers
