This year I am running the Brighton marathon on behalf of UNISON’s charity - There for You. The charity does amazing work supporting and helping public service workers in financial and emotional difficulties. From nurses, to social care workers and school support staff; There for You helps with issues like utility bills and the cost of school uniforms, as well as helping with education on budget planning, providing welfare breaks to provide welcome relief from stress and respite from difficult circumstances.

It’s such a good cause that I thought one way I could do my bit was to run a marathon! Whatever you can spare – I’ll be ever so grateful!
