ASSIST works with people in Sheffield who have been refused asylum in the UK. They are evicted from their Home Office accommodation and forced into destitution. We provide our clients with stable, dignified accommodation, regular financial support and a person-centred casework service.

Story

At the University Carol Service we take a collection for a local charity, this year for ASSIST Sheffield. Please donate via this page to ASSIST.

ASSIST Sheffield works with people who are seeking sanctuary and who have been refused asylum. It provides accommodation, information and other support. As a charity it relies on volunteers, grants and the generosity of the people of Sheffield and the surrounding area.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The University Carol Service is organised by the Christian Chaplaincy team at the Belief, No Belief and Religious (BNBR) Life Centre.
