Story

🎅 Santa Dash 2025 – Supporting Hospice of the Good Shepherd 🎅

This December, the University of Chester's Apprenticeship Team will be donning their Santa suits and running together in the festive Santa Dash 2025 to raise vital funds for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.

We’re proud to support this incredible local charity, which provides compassionate care and support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. Every donation helps the hospice continue its essential work in our community.

Whether we dash, jog, or stroll, we’ll be doing it with festive cheer and a shared purpose – to make a difference.

🎄 Please support us by donating whatever you can or simply sharing our page. Every pound counts and brings us closer to our goal! 🎄

Thank you for your kindness and generosity – and Merry Christmas from all of us at the Apprenticeship Team! ❤️

Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides its services free of charge to its patients and costs £5.4 million to run each year with just 17% of the funding received coming from statutory sources. The remaining 83% is raised from a range of fundraising activities and the support of the generous local community in Cheshire.

The Countess Charity is the official charity at The Countess of Chester Hospital. The team works with the local community, corporates and grant making trusts to raise money for over 80 different funds across the hospital each one making a real difference to patient care. The Countess Charity exists not to fund patient care, but to enhance and improve it.
