I believe that children should be fed, safe, and literate - no matter where they live. My friends at Urban Promise UK are doing just that in the most under-resourced neighborhood in London.

The children they’re serving are from all over the world, and I got to see first hand what an impact it all is having.

Throughout May, I’ll be moving with intention - pilates, walking, hiking through Alaska, trekking around Disneyland - and taking it all as meditation on the work of UPUK.

This summer we are inviting you to join us in providing a safe and exciting place for children to be in Marks Gate. We will be offering food, crafts, games, and a whole lot of fun for free as we seek to serve our community.

During the Spring term we have successfullly built an after school club that children love and enjoy. We've served hundreds of healthy meals, supported learning and development, provided outstanding role models, and been a safe, reliable space for the children of Marks Gate.

With the Summer rolling round we want offer 2 weeks of free activities for local children as well as some fantastic development opportunities for our teenage Student Leaders.

Will you help us in building transformative relationships and experiences this Summer?
