Hi, I’m Uuganaa Ramsay – author, speaker, and proud advocate for cultural inclusion. This year, I’m celebrating my birthday a little differently — by running a leg of the Hairy Haggis Relay at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on 25 May 2025, and fundraising for a cause that’s been at the heart of my journey: Mongol Identity SCIO.

For the past 15 years, I’ve been campaigning internationally to challenge discrimination and promote understanding of Mongol identity. From writing and speaking out to creating award-winning campaigns, my mission has always been to build a world where difference is recognised, celebrated, and respected.

As I prepare to step down as a director of Mongol Identity in the next 6 months, I want to finish this chapter by giving back to the community that has given me so much purpose. That’s why I’m running — not just for myself, but for everyone who deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.
