Why This Matters

I'm raising money to send urgent help to families in Gaza and across Palestine.

Right now, thousands of women and children are living through conditions none of us can imagine. They are cold. They are hungry. They have lost their homes, their safety, and in too many cases, the people they love.

I'm doing this because I believe we can't just watch and do nothing. When children are going to sleep without food, without blankets, without medicine—those of us who are safe and able have a duty to help.

This is about ordinary families caught in an impossible situation. Mothers trying to protect their children. Babies born into tents. Grandparents with no shelter from the rain. Wounded patients lying on hospital floors with no treatment.

They need us. And we can do something.

Last time, with your help, we raised over £1,000. This time, I'm setting a bigger goal: £5,000. The need has only grown, and I believe we can rise to meet it together.

Where Your Money Goes

Your donations will be sent directly to Gaza through Peace Matters Charity, a trusted Leeds-based organisation working with partners on the ground. Every penny you give will be used for the most urgent needs, including:

* Food – Hot meals, flour, baby formula, and basic nutrition for families who have gone days without proper food.

* Shelter, Warmth & Habitat – Tents, blankets, mattresses, and warm clothing for those who have lost their homes and now live in the open.

* Medical Aid – Emergency medicines, first aid supplies, and support for clinics and field hospitals struggling to treat the wounded and the sick.

* Support for Women & Children – The most vulnerable. Pregnant women with no access to care. Children who have lost everything. Survivors who need the basics to simply exist.

Your money doesn't get lost in bureaucracy. It becomes bread. It becomes a blanket. It becomes a bandage. It becomes warmth.

The Blessings of Giving

Allah says in the Qur'an:

"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies His reward for whom He wills." (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261)

Every pound you give is not a loss. It is an investment with the One who never forgets.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

"Charity does not decrease wealth."

And he ﷺ also said:

"Save yourself from Hellfire even by giving half a date-fruit in charity."

You don't need to be rich to make a difference. A little from you, multiplied by Allah's mercy, becomes everything for someone else.

When you give for the sake of Allah, you are not just feeding a hungry child—you are feeding your own soul. You are building a house in Jannah. You are earning the du'a of a mother in Gaza, an orphan, a wounded survivor. And the du'a of the oppressed is carried directly to the Throne.

So give. Give generously. Give for Allah. Give for the women. Give for the children. Give for the ones with no food, no shelter, no medicine. Give because you can. Give because one day, we will all stand before Allah with nothing but what we sent forward.
