On the 13th June I am attempting my first (and only) ultramarathon, The Wall.

70 miles across the country from Carlisle to Newcastle on foot with 26 hours to complete it.

I have trained hard for this challenge and am going to give it my best shot; what would help keep me going is knowing I am raising money for charity….almost 30 years ago, my beautiful Mum Jackie battled a rare form of skin cancer and so I would like donations to go to Melanoma UK in her memory.

In my work as a MLD therapist I treat patients who have lymphoedema following surgery for melanoma so am aware of the impact this can have long term.
