The Restaurant Associates and Rapport team at KPMG are undertaking a 20km walk from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 7th July to raise money for FareShare.

Any donation you can spare would be greatly appreciated, as 1 in 7 people in the UK (including 3 million children) can't afford enough food. At the same time, 4.6 million tonnes of edible food is wasted before it reaches people's plates – enough to make 10 billion meals.

£35 could provide the equivalent of a weeks’ worth of food for a charity supporting people with their mental health.

£46 could provide the equivalent of 230 well balanced lunches for people accessing services through a drop-in centre.

£50 could provide the equivalent of 250 evening meals for people experiencing homelessness.

£60 could provide the equivalent of 300 meals for women living at a refuge.

£75 could provide the equivalent of 375 meals to families struggling to cope during the Cost-of-Living Crisis.

£112 could fund the equivalent of 560 nutritious breakfasts to young people in hostels, who may not have the support of their families.

£152 could provide the equivalent of a month's worth of food for a Breakfast Club.

£200 could provide the equivalent of 1000 packed lunches to people who are experiencing homelessness or using housing support centres.

£300 could provide the equivalent of two months’ worth to children at a community group who might otherwise go hungry.
