Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Rashard was an incredibly talented tennis player, and a special part of our tennis family.

In 2014, he was diagnosed with a highly-aggressive brain tumour called diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas (DIPG), which accounts for 10-20% of all brain tumours in young children. He fought bravely for over 2 years before we sadly lost him in 2016.

Before his passing at just 13 years old, Rashard left us an encouraging message to "work hard" and keep chasing our dreams. Eight years on, the fight, courage, strength and determination he showed throughout his battle, continues to inspire us.

Vaishali, who always hated the infamous 'long run' conditioning days growing up, will be channelling these words throughout her training for the Marathon!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated towards it.

We're looking to raise £5,000 for Brain Tumour Research and would be extremely grateful for any donations and support towards this target! <3

Thank you!!!
