I'm taking on this challenge to raise money for Compton Care, a charity that will always hold a special place in my heart.

Clive was cared for by Compton Care during one of the most difficult times in our lives. The support they provided was incredible, not only for Clive but for our whole family. Their care, compassion and kindness helped us navigate an extremely challenging journey and made a life-changing difference when we needed it most.

The team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and supported. We even lived in the hospice with Clive, and they were so accommodating to our family's needs. Every detail was taken care of, and we had access to everything we needed. They created a warm, welcoming environment where we could focus on spending precious time together without worrying about practical things. Knowing that everything was taken care of meant the world to us.

As a person of race, I am incredibly proud of my identity and background. What stood out to me about Compton Care was the dignity, respect and understanding they showed to us throughout. They cared for Clive with such compassion and supported us as a family during an incredibly difficult time.

This isn't the first time Compton Care has supported my family. A few years after Clive was cared for, my brother Dennis was also cared for by Compton Care, and once again they went above and beyond for him and for us as a family. Their compassion, dedication and support during some of our darkest moments are something we will never forget.

I can never fully repay what Compton Care did for us, but I want to give back as a thank you for their outstanding support. By taking on this challenge, I hope to help ensure that other individuals and families can receive the same care, comfort and kindness that meant so much to us.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Compton Care continue their vital work and support more families when they need it most.
