Story
I am doing the London to Brighton Cycle Ride (55 miles) on 10th September for Help 4 Forgotten Allies (H4FA). I have been a trustee of H4FA since 2019 https://www.h4fa.org.uk/trustees/.
Since becoming a trustee of H4FA, I have been working with other trustees in distributing welfare grants to the veterans (who fought alongside the Allies during WWII in the Burma Campaign) and their widows in Burma. The recent political situation in Burma has created many refugees at Burma/Thai border and Burma/Indian border. H4FA has been providing humanitarian assistants to refugee camp in Burma. Details can be found on our website https://www.h4fa.org.uk/
H4FA has also initiated an education project at one of the refugee camps at the border between Burma and India. The school has been running for over a year now and currently with 111 primary students. Now, they need to relocate their camp and a new school is required. In order to raise money for this education project, I will take part in the London to Brighton Cycle Ride (55 miles) on 10th September.
I would be grateful if you could sponsor me for this very worthwhile cause. Your support will have a huge impact on the life of these primary school children.
