Story
Every year approximately 100,000 people will have a stroke in the UK and a quarter of these will happen to people of working age or younger and it is the single biggest cause of disability. Different Strokes is the only charity dedicated to younger stroke survivors to provide active peer support through information, advice and rehabilitation services.
I had a stroke in 2012 which left me with left sided weakness. with the support of Different strokes I have learnt to adapt to my disabilities and live a fulfilling life. Their support has been invaluable
Please support me in my challenge to abseil from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and to raise as much money as I can for this cause close to my heart - Thank you!
