Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In support of the Royal Orthopaedic Charity I will be participating int their ‘Give It Up’ challenge through January - this to raise funds for their side room appeal!

This is one close to my heart as I lost my Dad to cancer in October 2024, but the care and treatment he received at the ROH was nothing short of exceptional -

many of you contributed after he died to this charity and the work they do to make hospital care more comfortable for those who need it most.

I will be giving up all sugar for the duration of January - cakes, biscuits, sweets and treats - and given that this has been a staple ingredient in my diet for the last few months this will not be easy!

I watched dad give up things he loved, he lost his right arm and had to give up playing his guitar - but simply adapted and learnt something new.

Anything you can give, no matter how small makes such a difference to poorly patients and their families going through some of the worst times they will face - so thank you in advance - or equally feel free to sign up and give something up yourselves!!
