Story
Almost 6 years ago in 2020 my brother Christos Karatzenis lost his short fight against Pancreatic Cancer.
I decided to support cancer research with all means possibly in order to fight this cruel disease. I became a dedicated Ambassador of CRIS Cancer Foundation and also ran my 1st ever Royal Parks Half - London raising funds and awareness.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of CRIS Cancer Foundation, an international charity dedicated to funding research into pioneering new cancer treatments and to give the best possible chance of survival to patients who do not respond to conventional therapies. Since their creation in 2011, the CRIS Cancer Foundation has been committed to identifying and supporting exceptional research talent worldwide. Through their grants and fellowships, they provide scientists with the funding and long-term support they need throughout their careers to make breakthrough discoveries in cancer treatment.
Also this year I will run my 4th Royal Parks Half - London with another 75 CRIS Cancer Foundation team members in memory of friends and family who didn’t survive this cruel disease. We will also run for those who had to fight or continuously fighting this tough and unfair battle against cancer every day.
Thank you for supporting us today! Your generosity is vital in the fight against cancer!
