Story
I’m running the Bidwells Cambridge 10K in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK, because our muscles matter.
Exercise is good for us, and having a goal to train towards makes it even more rewarding. But being able to use that challenge to raise money for people who really need support makes every training run and every kilometre on race day mean so much more.
Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity supporting the 110,000 children and adults in the UK living with muscle-wasting and weakening conditions. There is currently no cure, and for many people these conditions can have a profound impact on everyday life.
MDUK funds groundbreaking research into treatments and cures, while also providing vital information, support and services to individuals and families living with these conditions.
So, I’ll be putting in the training, taking on the 10K, and hopefully raising as much as I can along the way.
Any donation, big or small, would mean a lot and will help support an incredibly important cause.
Thank you so much for your support!
