Help Us Save Lives – We Need Your Support
On the 26th of June 2025, our staff member Laura discovered that the defibrillator box outside our Veterans Community Lanarkshire Hub had been tampered with. Upon inspection, she found that the pads and electrolyte pack had been stolen, leaving the defibrillator unusable.
We immediately reported the theft to the police and local community groups, but sadly, this incident has rendered our defibrillator inactive – and that could mean the difference between life and death.
This defibrillator is a lifesaving piece of equipment for our veterans, staff, visitors, and the wider community. Without it, we are unable to respond to a cardiac emergency effectively.
We are a small, registered Scottish charity and rely entirely on donations and community support.
The replacement pads cost £174 each, and we’re urgently seeking donations to help us restore the defibrillator to full working order and create a stockpile of replacements.
Please support us in keeping this essential equipment ready to save lives. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to being prepared for the next emergency.
Thank you for standing with us.
