Oh hello there, I'm The Velvet Snatch, I'm mostly known for my distinctive voice and approachable nature. I'm a podcaster, musician, and performer known for being the face and voice of the GURL Global LGBT+ podcast, as well as my series 'SnatchTalk' covering the annual world famous Newcastle Drag Idol competition.

This year I'm one of the proud finalists of the annual Mx Drag Great Britain competition. It's an event that is very close to my heart both from knowing so many of the previous contestants and winners, and for the fact it's a pageant that prioritises personality and impact on the community over just looks. Sure there's a nice bit of dress up and glamour at the final which we get judged on, but the majority of the work is getting involved in the wider community and helping to raise money for good causes.
