Recently I have lost a woman who has been my aunt & the grandmother I’ve never had.  Her name is Veronica Ruby Wood, You may not of known her but on the afternoon of the 15th October around 4pm I received a call from a family member to say that My Hero, My fountain of Wisdom and the selfless person I called “My Onica” had closed eyes and left me behind to be with my farther amongst the stars.

For all my life this empowering woman has been there to support and guide to teach me how to be the gentleman I am today. Unfortunatley due to my mental health illness and server anxiety I currently have I was unable to leave my own home and be by her side and tell her one last time how much I loved and adored her.

Veronica had a long term condition lymphoedama and had suffered a great deal with mobility sometimes to the point the pain and sores were just unbarable.She taught me that nothing or nobody should hold me back from achiveing my wildest dreams.

So my dear onica our next big adventure and dream is to make sure people understand more about your condition and help research into more effective ways to treat people living with this everyday.
