Over the past year, Veronique and Marino decided to make a positive change. Together, they have lost an incredible 63kg (9.9st), Veronique 40kg (6.3st) and Marino 23kg (3.6), through hard work, determination and a commitment to a healthier lifestyle.

Now they are taking on their very first sponsored run, the Middlesbrough 10K, and they have chosen to do it in support of the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS). This amazing charity delivers life-saving care across the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria, reaching people wherever they are, whether on a remote fell, a roadside or in the heart of a city.
