This year at Verve, our team has chosen St Teresa’s Hospice in Darlington as our Charity of the Year. Every year, our team members suggest charities that are close to their hearts, and then we vote on the one we’ll focus our fundraising efforts on.

St Teresa’s Hospice provides incredible care and support for people facing life-limiting illnesses, and they make a real difference to patients and families alike. One of our team members, Alex, suggested the hospice because of the amazing support they gave to her family when her dad, Mark, passed away. The care and grief counselling they offered made a lasting impact, and we’re fundraising in his memory.

Alex will also be running the Great North Run this year in Mark’s memory, and we’ll be sharing lots of other fundraising activities soon that our team will be taking part in throughout 2026.

Every donation, big or small, will help St Teresa’s continue providing dignity, comfort, and support to patients and families during such difficult times. Thank you for helping us honour Mark and support this incredible charity.
