Jess's fundraiser for Tony Hudgell Foundation

Jess Metcalfe is raising money for Tony Hudgell Foundation

3 PEAKS CHALLENGEL: 24 hours · 7 June 2025

Tony Hudgell Foundation wishes to take vulnerable children and their families who have been affected by abuse, on a magical trip to find Santa in Lapland.

Story

Many of you know my Mums story. But in case you don't let me share a little.

My mum was the first battered baby to be publicised in the press. Her story is unimaginable and she has recently written a book about being born into trauma not defining you. She is a very special woman.

In my quest to honour her legacy, I signed up for the 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE: 24 hours on June 7th, 2025.

I wanted to find a charity that aligns with her story, and that’s when I discovered the Tony Hudgell Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to supporting vulnerable children affected by physical, emotional, or psychological abuse.

This is the reel that popped up on my feed:

Instantly I knew this is who I wanted to walk for.

Tony himself experienced hardship but found joy in a magical trip to Lapland two years ago. He expressed his desire to share that magic with children who have faced similar struggles. With your help, we can make this dream a reality by taking two coach loads of children and their families on a three-night, four-day adventure to Luosto in Finland.

I am aiming to raise £1,111 for this incredible cause. Together, we can bring hope and joy to those who need it most. Please consider supporting this journey; every contribution counts towards making a difference in these children's lives.

Thank you for supporting in any way you can!
