The Veterans’ Foundation funds trusted organisations across the UK to provide support to veterans, serving personnel, and the people and communities around them. Together, we listen to veterans and help make an active difference to their lives.

Story

28 miles 🥾 24 peaks ⛰️ 12,000 feet ↗️ 36 hours ⏱️

This September, I’m taking on the Lake District 24 Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Veterans’ Foundation — a charity that provides vital support to veterans and their families across the UK.

Over 36 hours, I’ll cover 28 miles and climb more than 12,000 feet — tackling some of England’s highest and most demanding peaks, including Scafell Pike and Helvellyn. It’s considered one of the UK’s toughest hiking challenges.

For me, this is about pushing beyond a hobby and turning it into something meaningful. The training is already well underway, with the Edale Skyline and the Yorkshire Three Peaks lined up as part of the build-up this summer.

Every donation — no matter the size — will go towards supporting veterans who have given so much. If you’re able to contribute, I’d be incredibly grateful. And if you can’t donate, sharing the page would mean just as much.

Thank you for your support
