Donations to the Great North Children's Hospital Foundation support the many children and their families, catered towards young people/teenagers currently who come to the RVI for treatment and care.

Close to home for us as a society (Sunderland University's Video Game Society), we aim to bring joy and raise patient experience by using the fastest growing, and admittedly most fun, fundraising activity in recent years.... Video Games!

Events like this can really make a positive difference to patients, staff and their families in terms of morale and wellbeing. Whilst also directly giving to the research and development of life changing equipment and technology! Evidence shows that children have a quicker recovery when they are in an environment they enjoy and we, both community and organisation, strive to make the GNCH as welcoming and friendly as it can be.
