Story
I’m so excited (and a little terrified!) to share that I’m taking part in Strictly Inverness 2026 — and not just any year, but the 15th anniversary of this amazing fundraising event that supports Highland Hospice and the Inverness Ice Centre. These charities do incredible work for families across our community, and knowing that someone I love may one day need the Hospice makes this even more meaningful for me.
And let’s be honest… I absolutely love sequins, so the chance to dress up, sparkle under the lights, and live my best glitzy ballroom life is definitely a bonus! Plus, the possibility of meeting Anton Du Beke is basically a dream come true.
This is a huge commitment for me. Every dancer is asked to fundraise as much as they can, secure a corporate sponsor, and train three times a week, every week, from January to May. That’s a lot of sweat, nerves, and learning to trust my two left feet!
And then comes the big moment…
I’ll be stepping out onto the dancefloor, under the lights, facing a panel of judges, live scoring, and performing in front of more than 600 people. Just typing that gives me butterflies!
It’s a massive challenge — physically, mentally, and emotionally — but I’m throwing myself into it because these charities matter, and the support they provide touches so many families in ways we don’t even realise yet.
If you’re able to support me in any way at all, I would be incredibly grateful. Every donation, big or small, lifts me, motivates me, and helps make this experience even more meaningful.
Thank you so much for cheering me on 💛
