Hello,

I am doing this for my best friend Kim who I have know for 17 years.

Sadly Kim was diagnosed with the cruel MND around 2 years ago and was told the type she is has is fast progressing 😢.

She was told she would only have 2/3 years to live.

In the 2 years I have watched her go from just needing a walking stick and her speech a little slurry to now being bed ridden and needing to be hoisted and has lost her speech completely. She now can't fo anything for herself and is completely reliant on her husband, children and friends.

This cruel disease needs more awareness and more funding towards finding a cure or at least a way to slow it down.

I cannot imagine what people with MND are going through but it 100% harder than us watching from the outside and that alone is the toughest thing I have ever had to do.

I know this fundraising won't help Kim, her family and friends but I know Kim would be the first to help anyone in her situation.

Obviously she can't do it so I'm going to do it instead.

Please help me to help others by sharing this fundraiser and/or donating.

I am specifically raising money for the Reading and West Berkshire Branch as they are the ones who have been involved with Kim's care.

This cruel disease needs to be stopped
