Story

Charlie's Promise was founded because of a senseless crime that should never of happened, now the family is trying to stop that from happening to other families, so nobody else has to feel the emptiness that they do.

Although I personally didnt know Charlie, having 2 boys myself, imagining how I would feel if anything like this happened to my boys is unimaginable.

So on Sunday September 7th I will be walking 43km from Hove to Arundel over the downs, yes lots more hills and a tough Ultra Challenge (27 miles) for Charlie and Charlies Promise

Charlie Cosser meant something to so many people and his life was stolen from him through a pure act of cowardly violence and rage. A senseless knife crime that has destroyed so many lives.

Their little boy ( only 17 when he passed in 2023) was destined for great things in this world but his death will not stop him from achieving them. Martin (Charlie's dad) and family are convinced that education is the strongest tool that we have in the fight against knife crime and their little boys legacy has already and will continue to save lives.

CHARLIES PROMISE will make sure he is NEVER to be forgotten ❤️ and anything I can do to support this newly founded charity, his memory and the education of knife crime to reduce these happening is exactly why I am taking on this 10 hour walking challenge from Hove to Arundel on Sunday September 7th.

I cannot imagine the pain that this family go through day in day out, but to turn something so painful and heartbreaking into something positive and inspiring, wanting to help others not go through this themselves is why I have chosen this charity as they deserve everything we can give them to help this from happening to one of our children.

If you can help me in anyway please, I know after speaking to Martin today just what this would mean to them and Charlie.

Every donation, big or small, will help Charlie’s Promise continue their vital work in preventing knife crime.

Together, we can honour Charlie’s memory and support a future free from knife violence.
