I am proud to be participating in the Altra Yorkshire Marathon 2026 on 18 October 2026 to support the Neighbourhood Elders Team, a charity dedicated to uplifting the lives of elderly individuals and those living with dementia. This incredible organization relies heavily on volunteers, but recent funding cuts combined with a growing demand from our community have put their vital services at risk.

Every step I take in this marathon is a step towards ensuring that no elder feels forgotten or unsupported. The need for compassionate care and connection has never been greater, and together we can make a difference.
