I'll be swimming with my great pal, Fiona Russell, her husband and neighbours (and another few hundred people) across the Beauly Firth and back via the old Kessock Ferry route joining Inverness to the Black Isle.

The Aban Outdoor Charity hosting the event raises funds for outdoors activities for young people in the area. I was very fortunate to enjoy the outdoors growing up, leading me to a lifetime of fun, friendship and a professional role as a coach.

If you can donate a few ££'s, I'll swim like a demon in gratitude (beating Fiona, my most competitive friend in the world, who assures me is swimming the event as a social experience).
