TYPE 1 DIABETES is very close to my heart & I wish to do all I can to find a cure. Anyone at any age can be diagnosed with this life long condition due to no fault of their own or anyone elses.

My daughter (Shyloe) was diagnosed at the age of 6 with this life long condition and is insulin dependent for rest of her life. We had no experience of this condition at all and it was a massive shock for her and everyone around her. All our lives and certainly Shyloes was never going to be the same again.

Without insulin manually administered via all the amaizng technology & gadgets available for her she would not be here. No day is the same, everything Shyloe does effects her blood suger levels which has to be mantained via the amazing technology she uses to keep her alive every day. Life is challenging in so many more ways due to this condition however Shyloe continues to live her life to the full with Type 1 Diabetes best as she can.
