Story

On Sunday the 4th April 2027 my sister-in-law and I are taking on the challenge of running the London Half Marathon together. After watching her complete the race last year, I was inspired by her determination, and together we've decided to take on this incredible challenge while raising money for a cause that means so much.

We're running in support of Place2Be, a charity that provides life-changing mental health support to children and young people.

My family has experienced first-hand the challenges that can come with a child struggling with their mental health, and we know how profoundly it can affect not only the child but the entire family. The emotional impact can be overwhelming, and having access to the right support can make a life-changing difference.

Every child deserves the opportunity to be happy and confident and charities like Place2Be provide vital early intervention and mental health support to help children overcome the challenges they face. They also support families, schools, and communities, ensuring that children don't have to face their struggles alone.

Running the London Half Marathon will be a huge personal challenge, but it pales in comparison to the challenges many children and families face every day. By supporting my fundraiser, you'll be helping Place2Be continue its essential work, giving more children access to the support they need when they need it most.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference. Thank you so much for your generosity, encouragement, and support it truly means the world to me.
