Story
After losing our Dad in 2017 to suicide we, along with our family experienced the complex and painful journey of trying to come to terms with what had happened as well as finding a way to move forward and navigate our way through grief.
When we first discovered Suicide&Co it was one of the only charities we had come across that specialised in support of the people who are left behind. The charity supports those bereaved by suicide and aims to open up the conversation around suicide related grief, something we have both found to be hugely important in our own grief journey. Finding a community that can understand the complicated grief that comes from losing a loved one in this way feels so important and something we want to raise money for to help others who need support and guidance in the most difficult times.
The charity provides 12 sessions of one-to-one bereavement counselling to those who've lost a loved one to suicide. Every donation of £30 will help provide a counselling session.
We are taking on the huge challenge of running the London Marathon to raise as much money as possible to provide much needed free counselling so that we can help those who are struggling with their own grief journey after losing a loved one to suicide ❤️
