Story
My amazing friend Sally and I are walking the 182 miles of the Thames Path, broken up into one-day sections over the next few months and hoping to Pied Piper-style rope in a few more walkers as we progress (mainly to save Sal from my depressing chat). I know it pales in comparison to marathons and triathlons, but it's the most I can muster at the moment :)
I think Sally (who incidentally is one of the most phenomenal humans you could ever meet) originally suggested it simply to give me a reason to get out of bed one morning a week, but having now walked the first 22 miles from Woolwich Arsenal to Putney, I have felt my beautiful boy with me every step of the way, egging me on and so I am dedicating this walk to my beloved Dan and hoping to raise some money to help others suffering as he did, so that they and their families might be saved from what we will now have to endure forever.
Forget you we shall not, for love, unlike life, will never stop. I love you, Dan xxx
